Tesla CEO Elon Musk is still willing to take over Twitter for the 44 billion dollars (44 billion euros) he has previously offered, several American media report. He wrote this in a letter to the board of Twitter . The social media company said Tuesday that it intends to accept the offer of $54.20 per share. Musk made his $44 billion offer on Twitter in April, but decided to drop it in July. According to the richest man in the world, Twitter misled him about the number of users and fake accounts. The company subsequently sued him and demanded that he proceed with the acquisition. Musk himself also went to court with a claim in which he accuses Twitter of fraud and deception. The lawsuit was due to go to court in the US state of Delaware later this month and may now be dropped.
