The special services also informed the Bulgarian prosecutor’s office. On Sunday, the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Oleksandr Bastrykin, said at a meeting with Putin that the route of the truck that blew up the Crimean bridge allegedly started in Bulgaria, and then passed through Georgia, Armenia, North Ossetia and the Krasnodar Territory. European Commission spokesman Peter Stano called Bastrykin’s words unreliable. “We have no way to find out what happened on Saturday on the bridge, what led to the explosion, what the reasons were. You know the reliability of many so-called “investigations” in Russia. I wouldn’t trust what they say,” he said.
